More states than ever are accepting Concealed Carry Licenses or Permits from other states.  Right now it appears that as many as 26 other states will accept your Illinois CCL.  There are various limitations but in many cases you must be a resident of Illinois.

Remember you’ll have to comply with the laws of the other states when you are in those states, and you can be sure their laws are different than Illinois.  Familiarize yourself with the laws of those states, before carrying concealed.  In particular know the prohibited areas, the rules about places that serve alcohol, and the rules about interaction with law enforcement.
